Our Mission Statement

The Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce is a business organization that promotes its members and the interests of the business community.  The Chamber supports and encourages those cultural and civic activities beneficial to the business community, and endorses the activities which improves the general quality of life in Penn Hills." 

The Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary partnership of business and professional people working together to enhance the quality of life for the people in the Penn Hills area through economic, civic and educational growth.  The Chamber functions solely through membership investment program participation.

 



What is a Chamber of Commerce?
Your Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of citizens who are investing their time and money in a community development program, working together to improve the economic well being and quality of life of the area.

Any citizen who is interested in helping to develop the area (which means more money, more business, more jobs and better living for everyone) is eligible to be a member. The work of the Chamber is financed by the investment of the members who support it.

The Chamber of Commerce is composed of committee workers, directors and officers who serve without pay. A Chamber President and staff members who devote their full time to the Chamber of Commerce are the only paid employees.

What does the Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce do?
The Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce has several divisions, with board members working in each division.

  1. Promote Business to Business contacts and referrals.
  2. Act is an Information Center for collecting and disbursing varios articles of community interest.
  3. Keep members informed of local,state and national changes that could help improve their individual business
  4. Award annual scholarships to outstanding and deserving local students to continue on to college.
  5. Sponsor various weekly and monthly Business to Business Networking opportunities.
  6. Created and maintain a monthly "Women to Women" luncheon to showcase the Business Women who are a mainstay of our local Business Families.
  7. Add support to many local organizational functions such as Kiwanis, Rotary, YMCA and Penn Hills Municipality and Penn Hills School District.
